Captain Konstantis Vlastaris, lighthouse keeper and landlord of the small bay of Agia Irini left his small fish tavern as heritage to his children. They took over and created what is now “Arias”.

Today, his grandson Kostas Vlastaris, known as “Soumas”, and his family own and run the restaurant. They offer an unforgettable Mediterranean dining experience complemented with exceptional service in a relaxed atmosphere. “Soumas” chooses himself the fresh fishes and live lobsters that the caiques bring to the island every day.

He then passes it on to the magical hands of hiw wife, Eleni, who transforms it into a feast of absolute delight, using organic herbs and vegetables from her own farm.

His mother, Marietta, a most experienced cook makes yummy local specialities and his daughter, Aria, serves the colourful cycladic dishes.
